Bruce Lynn Steele, 48, of Sedalia, passed away Sunday, May 27, 2012, at Boone Hospital, Columbia. He was born on April 22, 1964, in Sedalia, a son of Wray Eugene and Cora Belle (Lewis) Steele.
On May 24, 1986, in Sedalia, he was united in marriage to Diana Lynn Connor who survives of the home.
Bruce worked as a fork truck operator at Maxion Wheels in Sedalia. He enjoyed fishing with his son and watching his daughter in theater and music productions. He loved to play all fantasy sports. He was a member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church.
Besides his parents and wife, he is survived by two children, Chantz Jacob Steele and Haley Lynn Steele; one sister, Vickie Steele Fidler; two brothers, Tony Steele (Helen) and Gene Steele all of Sedalia; and his beloved pets, Tucker and Sadie.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Kurt (K.C.) Steele.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am, Saturday, June 2, at Rea Funeral Chapel with Rev. Gary Palmer officiating.
Burial will be in Mt. Olive Cemetery, Syracuse, MO.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 pm on Friday, June 1, at the funeral chapel.
Pallbearers will be Travis Hagedorn, Darren Ross, Donnie Hunter, Tom Monsees, Jared Thomas, John Poppinga, Jim Bob Morrison and Bobby Snow.
Honorary bearers will be nieces and nephews.
