Nancy L. Salmons, 72, of Stover, passed away Monday, June 4, 2012, at her home. She was born on March 18, 1940, in Kanosha, WI, a daughter of Martin and Lillian (Lohman) Johansen.

On December 10, 1976, in Florence, MO, she was united in marriage to Willburn “Kirt” Salmons who survives of the home.

She enjoyed being at the lake, fishing and spending time with her family and grandchildren.

Nancy worked at Interstate Studios and was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church, Florence, MO.

Besides her husband she is survived by three children, Shelly Farris and her husband Mike of Stover, MO, Kelly Baxter and her husband John of Roseville, CA and Wayne Tracy and his wife Lecia of Sedalia; one sister, Carolyn Starr and her husband Wendall of CA; two brothers William Johansen and his wife Betty of Whitier, CA and Robert Johansen and his wife Annie of Picoriveria, CA; nine grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Sheri Lee Tracy.

Receiving of friends and Celebration of Life service will be held from 2:30 to 3:30 pm on Thursday, June 7, 2012, at Rea Funeral Chapel, Sedalia.

Memorial contributions are suggested to Regional Hospice in care of Rea Funeral Chapel.
