Rachel E. M. Stephens, 48, of Sedalia, passed away Saturday, June 9, 2012 at Bothwell Regional Health Center.  She was born on January 26, 1964, in Santa Clara, CA, a daughter of Donald and Deloris (Mitchell) Cleek.

On March 12, 1995, in Sedalia, she was united in marriage to Bret Wendell Stephens who survives of the home.

Rachel worked for Starline Industries. She enjoyed bicycling, cooking, gardening and art work.

Besides her husband and mother, she is survived by three children, Elizabeth Cleek of Olathe, KS, Marguerite Stephens and Gwendalyn Stephens, of Sedalia; two grandsons, Alexander and Landen; a brother, Michael Cleek, of Olathe, KS.

She was preceded in death by her father.

Memorial services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, June 13, 2012, at Rea Funeral Chapel, with Rev. Ed Broyles officiating.

Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the chapel.
