Juanita "Mick" Joy, 80, of Sedalia, passed away Thursday, June 28, 2012, at her home. She was born on December 12, 1931, in Chamois, MO, a daughter of John and Hulda (Schwermer) Means.

On April 27, 1951, in Norfolk, VA, she was united in marriage to H.A. Joy who survives of the home.

Besides her husband, she is survived by three children, John H. Joy and his wife Susanna, Mike P. Joy and his wife Debbie and Julie A. Sieving and her husband Dennis, all of Sedalia; two sisters; three brothers; nine grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister.

A service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, July 3, 2012, at Memorial Park Cemetery Mausoleum, Sedalia, with Rev. Brady Abel officiating.

Family will greet friends after service.

In lieu of flowers, contributions are suggested to The Canon Cancer Center or Bothwell Hospice in care of Rea Funeral Chapel.
