Marchetta “Marty” Frances Stout, 86, of Sedalia, passed away, Sunday, April 14, 2013. She was born on February 13, 1927, in Kansas City, a daughter of Emile and Helen (Busick) OVerby.
She was united in marriage to Samuel Green, on September 9, 1943, who preceded her in death on November 22, 1986. On February 10, 1997, she was united in marriage to Orville Stout, who survives of the home.
She loved her husband, children and pets dearly. She enjoyed lake living, quilting, gardening and going to the boats. She spent many enjoyable years traveling with her husband who worked on the pipeline. They loved buying and selling antiques at flea markets and their shop.
She is survived by two daughters, Linda (Jerry) Page of Smithton and Sandra (Tom) Kerr of Sedalia; four step daughters, Jo (Eugene) Colvin of Sedalia, Georgia (Ron) Pedego of Tipton, Dorothy “Cookie” (John) Hyer of Sedalia and Katy (Dave) Graff of Arizona; fifteen grandchildren and many great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her sister Betty Jaeger.
A memorial service will be held at 10:00 am, Monday, April 22, 2013, at Rea Funeral Chapel, Sedalia, with Jake Jones officiating.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to service.

Henry Wayne Cressley, 62, of Sedalia passed away, Saturday, April 6, 2013 at KU Medical Center.
He was born on March 23, 1951, a son of George and Olive (Stiles) Cressley.

Thomas Burns, 83, of Wellington, passed away Thursday, April 4, 2013 at Bothwell Regional Health Center, Sedalia. He was born on February 19, 1930, in Jefferson City, MO, the son of Thomas and Frances Leola Cooley Burns. He was united in marriage for 57 years to Sharon L. Harbrucker, who survives of the home.
He was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church and Knights of Columbus, both in Lexington, MO; American Legion and Veterans of Foreign Wars, both in Wellington, MO. He worked as an over the road truck driver for many years and served his country honorably in the United States Army during the Korean conflict.
Besides his wife, he is survived by four children, Thomas A. Burns (Roxann) of Paola, KS, Anita Terry (Larry) of Wellington, MO, Daniel Burns (Patti) of Blue Springs, MO, and Sherri Bigler (Rick) of Kansas City, MO; three sisters, Kathryn Yeager of Edgerton, KS, Betty Motts of Montana, and LaVern Martin (Rudy) of Montgomery, AL; ten grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and three sisters.
Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, April 9, 2013 at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Lexington with Father Christopher Smith officiating.
Burial will be at 1:30 p.m. at Mt. Washington Cemetery, Independence, MO.
