Obituary For Aaron Davis Meyer

Aaron Davis Meyer, 29, of Sedalia, MO, passed away Tuesday, December 21, 2021, at his home. He was born on June 19, 1992, in Sedalia, a son of William Robert Meyer and Lillie M. Connell who reside in Sedalia.

Aaron was a 2011 graduate of Smith-Cotton High School and Whittier High School. He played football in high school and was fondly known to all his teammates as the "Shed". He enjoyed watching football and was an avid Kansas City Chiefs fan. Music was a big part of Aaron's life. He liked to write rap music and mix his own beats. Aaron had a fantastic sense of humor. He loved to make people laugh, no matter what it took to get them there. Aaron's children meant the world to him. They brought him so much joy and laughter. Aaron was a good person and would help anyone in need. Aaron will be greatly missed and fondly remembered by all who knew and loved him.

In addition to his parents he is survived by his partner, Chasity Ford of the home; a set of twins, Myra and Rayden Meyer, a son, Vincent Moore all of the home; a brother, William R. Meyer, II (Kristen) of Sedalia; paternal grandparents, Robert and Judi Meyer of Sedalia; two aunts, Candy Meyer of Sedalia and Andrea Fields of Kentucky; an uncle, Chuck Gepford of Kentucky; two nieces, Aria and Haylee; and many cousins.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Marilyn and Oliver Connell.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at 5:00 p.m. Monday, January 3, 2022, at Rea Funeral Chapel with Rev. Jerry Jones officiating.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the chapel.

Honorary bearers will be Justin Hall, Nick Steck, Jeremy Lees, Brendan Vanwinkle, Jacob Astor, David Silva, Jay Pittman, and Brandon Walker, and Lewis "Bucky" Meyer.

Memorial contributions may be made to the family to be used for Aaron's children.
