Petey was known for owning the Petey’s 66 gas station where he worked for years, and socialized daily with his regular customers. He then spent some of his career working in the cabinet making industry. He enjoyed working at Jake’s Creative Woodworks, which then led him to open Cabinetry Pros.
Petey and his wife were dedicated members of the Sedalia Elks Lodge #125 where they spent a lot of their time socializing, playing poker and assisted with many charitable fundraisers. Petey also enjoyed a good golf game and was known to gamble a bit – usually quite successfully.
Petey recently became a first time grandpa to his grandson Bennett who he adored very much. It was very important to Petey to be an organ donor. Petey's father was a recipient of two kidney transplants.
