Baltazar Joseph Ruiz, 35, of Sedalia passed away on Tuesday, April 21, 2026, in Kansas City, Missouri. He was born on January 2, 1991, in Edinburg, Texas the son of Irma Granados, who resides in Powell, Missouri.

In addition to his mother, Joseph is survived by two children, Adryon and Kylie Ruiz; a brother, Jacob Ruiz and a sister Ana Ruiz; and an aunt Maria Rodriguez;

Joseph was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Socorro and Jose Rodriguez.

There will be no formal services held.

Cremation arrangements are in the care of Rea Funeral Chapel.
