Betty Louise Canida

Betty Louise Canida, 92, of Otterville, MO, passed away on February 21, 2025, at the Golden Age Living Center in Stover, MO. She was born on June 21, 1932, in Kansas City, MO, the daughter of Fred and Pearl Beuhler, who preceded her in death.

On July 8,1950, in Kansas City, MO, Betty was united in marriage to Oscar Canida, who preceded her in death on October 26, 2010.

Betty worked as a nursing assistant at Bothwell Regional hospital for 25 years. She enjoyed her job as a nursing assistant and working in the garden as she always had a large garden.

Betty is survived by her sons, Alan Canida and wife Marcy of Otterville, MO, and Chris Canida and Carrie Lehr of Leawood, KS.

Besides her parents and husband, Betty is preceded in death by her sister Ruth Roberds.

A graveside service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 27, 2025, at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery, Higginsville, MO.
