Beverly J. Parker, 79, of Sedalia, MO, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Wednesday, December 13, 2023, at her home. She was born on September 25, 1944, in Sedalia, the daughter of William Henry Evans and Alma Rose (Lappat) Evans, who preceded her in death.
On May 27, 1961, in Sedalia, MO, she married the love of her life, Paul G. Parker, who resides in the home.
Beverly loved her family, playing bingo, going to casinos, crocheting for craft shows, and watching Hallmark movies.
After thirty-plus years of employment, she retired from Maxion Wheels. She was a lifelong member of St. Vincent de Paul Parishes in Sedalia.
In addition to her husband, Beverly is survived by three children, Cindi Lindgren and her husband Gregory, Timothy Parker and fiance Neisha, and Thomas Parker and wife Lucy, all of Sedalia; eleven grandchildren, Ashli (Mike) Anderson, Chelsi (Tyler) Warren, Anthony (Sydney) Lindgren, Shelby (Blaine) Parker, Justin (Paige) Parker, Destiny (Tony) Parker, Britney (Logan) Stone, Kali (Tom) Oldham, Tandis Williams, Jaelyn Parker, and Hayden Parker; ten great-grandchildren, Aubrey, Adalynn, Easton, Grayson, Bryson, Ayana, Brinlee, Laken, TeLeigha, and Meyer; and a brother, William E. Evans and wife Marge, of Sedalia.
In addition to her parents, Beverly was preceded in death by a daughter, Connie Dougan; a grandson, Brian Dougan; and a brother, Cecil Lappat.
A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, December 19, 2023, at Calvary Cemetery, Sedalia, with Father Joe Corel officiating.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society in the care of Rea Funeral Chapel.
