Brannon Chase Walker, 33, of Sedalia, MO, passed away on Saturday, May 11, 2024, at his parents home in Knob Noster, MO. He was born on October 25, 1990, in Las Vegas, NV, the son of Garry T. Walker and Lena D. (Mills) Walker, who reside in Knob Noster.

On September 1, 2018, in Knob Noster, MO, he was united in marriage to Sarah R. Stidham, who resides in the home. Through this union, they had two beautiful daughters.

Brannon was a 2009 graduate of Knob Noster High School, where he was active in football, baseball, and basketball. He served his country honorably in the United States Marine Corps from 2011 until 2014. After his Marine Corps career, he attended UCM in Warrensburg, where he graduated from the police academy in 2015. After graduating, he accepted a position at the Saline County Sheriff's Department until 2019, when he transferred to the Pettis County Sheriff's Department. While with the Pettis County Sheriff's Department, he received Deputy of the Year in 2021 and the Medal of Valor in 2023.

Brannon enjoyed fishing with his two daughters. He was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan. Brannon had a passion for art and was an amazing artist with his drawings and paintings.

In addition to his wife and parents, Brannon is survived by two daughters, Skylar and Delainey, of the home; a brother, Lance Walker (Cassie) of Warrensburg; a sister, Trista Walker of Knob Noster; bonus sister, Devin Garcia of Las Vegas, NV; maternal grandparents, Charles and Gloria Mills of Knob Noster; two aunts, Shawnee Rathburn of Knob Noster, and Rena Buck of Tennessee.

Brannon was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Sophia and Albert Walker, Jr.; a brother, Christopher Thomas Walker; sister, Tara Lynn Walker; and an uncle, Albert Walker, III.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, May 20, 2024, at Rea Funeral Chapel, 3510 W. 16th St., Sedalia, with Dr. Chad McMullin officiating.

The family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. until service time at the chapel.

The burial will be at Knob Noster Cemetery, Knob Noster, MO, with full military honors conducted by the United States Marine Corps and Sedalia VFW Post #2591. The Pettis County Sheriff's Department will also conduct its "Last Call" to honor Brannon.

Pallbearers will be Garry Walker, Lance Walker, Broc Rathburn, Shane Rawlins, Zack Rawlins, and Jimmy Conners.

Honorary bearers will be Justin Conners and his Marine Corps Brothers.

Memorial contributions may be made to the family to be used for his children's college fund, in the care Rea Funeral Chapel.
