Obituary For Bruce Dee Snyder

Bruce Dee Snyder, 82, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 21, 2024, in Warsaw, Benton, Missouri. Bruce was born on April 26, 1941, to Nathaniel James and Dora Laughter Snyder in Ogden, Weber, Utah.

He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints all his life and served in many different callings.

He moved to Sedalia, Missouri, in March of 1985 with his work. He worked for the Air Force as a civilian, modifying and repairing the missiles. When the program shut down, he chose to take an early out and stay in Missouri. After a series of short-term jobs, he began his own business as an Electrical contractor in 1992 under the name of B & B Electric. He kept the company open with the help of his two sons, Brian and Ron Callahan until he was diagnosed with dementia and Parkinson's in 2019.

He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Treava Champlin Snyder; four daughters, Nicole Snyder of Ogden, Utah, Patricia Callahan Cornelius of Oregon, Terri (Aaron) Callahan Yelton of Kirksville, Missouri, Linda Callahan Fields of Lincoln, Missouri; one son, Ron Callahan of Lincoln, Missouri; two sisters, Linda Snyder McCowan of Ogden, Utah, Martha (Les) Snyder Greenhalgh of Ogden, Utah; twenty-three grandchildren, and many great-grandchildren as well as adopted grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Nathaniel James, and Dora Lee Laughter Snyder; 1 daughter, Jo Marie Snyder; 2 sons, Shaun Dee Snyder and Brian Scott Callahan; two brothers, James Richard Snyder, and Kieth Dee Snyder; four sisters, Norma Snyder Fowers, Priscilla Snyder Wheeler, Lena Snyder Imes, and Elaine Snyder Ewert.

Services will be on February 2, 2024, at 2:00 PM at the Tipton Missouri, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 31469 S. Highway 5, Tipton, Missouri.
