Carol Ann Esser

Carol Ann Esser, 76, of La Monte, MO, passed away Monday, February 21, 2022, at Bothwell Regional Health Center in Sedalia. She was born on January 26, 1946, in Sedalia, the daughter of Robert Patrick and Jean (Bobbitt) Patrick, who preceded her in death.

Carol was a 1963 graduate of La Monte High School. She was a beautician for many years and owned and operated, Carol's Coiffures Beauty Shop in La Monte. She was a member of La Monte Christian Church and enjoyed being involved in her church. She especially enjoyed Krispy Kreme donuts, attending Ozzy Osbourne concerts, and going to the casino's in Columbia and Kansas City. Carol was a wonderful mother, grand-mother, and sister. She loved spending time with her family and especially loved making fudge for her grandkids.

Survivors include two children, Deina Hill (Randy Tracy) of La Monte and Tony Adams (Leslie Beatty) of Pawtucket, RI; a brother, Roger Patrick (Roberta) of Bryant, AR; five grandchildren, Ashley Martin (Jacob), Haylee Simpson, Chelsea Carie (Ken), Sahara Dawn Adams, Charles Patrick Adams; eleven great-grandchildren; a niece, Shannon Lee, of Hot Springs, AR, a nephew, Russell Patrick, of La Monte.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Dennis Patrick.

A Celebration of Life gathering will be held from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friday, February 25, 2022 at Rea Funeral Chapel, Sedalia.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Sedalia Animal Shelter in care of the funeral home.
