Charles "Chuck" Alden Loucks, 61, of Sedalia, MO, passed away peacefully at his home on Friday, August 15, 2025. He was born on August 14, 1964, in Bakersfield, CA, the son of Alden Wright Loucks and Dewayne "Bud" Kidd and Flossie Darlene (Cocker) Kidd, who preceded him in death.

On November 19, 1993, in Sedalia, MO, he was united in marriage to Brenda Cornine, who survives of the home.

Chuck was a proud graduate of Arroyo Grande High School, Arroyo Grande, CA, Class of 1982. Following graduation, he enlisted in the United States Marine Corps, serving honorably from 1982 to 1984. After his military service, he returned home to work alongside his father on the family ranch. Chuck was especially proud of his family heritage as a direct descendant of aviation pioneers Wilbur and Orville Wright.

Later, Chuck moved to Slater, MO, to be closer to family - a move that led him to meet the love of his life, Brenda. Together, they began their family in Higginsville, MO, before settling in Sedalia. Chuck worked as an insurance salesman for Combined Insurance Company, building lasting relationships through his dedication and integrity.

Passionate about giving back to his community, Chuck played a key role in establishing the Sedalia Youth Football League and enjoyed coaching youth baseball. He also served with the Pettis County Fire Department and as an E.M.A. storm spotter.

Chuck's interests were as wide-ranging as his talents. He loved rock and country music and managed several bands through his company, Stallion Entertainment, LLC. A lifelong martial arts enthusiast, Chuck began training as a teenager and achieved the rank of Black Belt in Jujitsu and Shingahn-do. In 2014, he was inducted into the USA Martial Arts Hall of Fame in Texas as American Combative Martial Art Master of the Year.

Above all, Chuck was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. His greatest joy came from spending time with his family and cheering on his grandchildren.

In addition to his wife, Brenda, Chuck is survived by four daughters: Kristen Cochran (Joe II) of Sedalia, Jamie Loucks of Sedalia, Heather Samson (Casey) of Sedalia, and Jennifer Demery of Ventura, CA; eight grandchildren: Azure, Hagen, Emery, Ameelya, Vinsent, Sophia, Maverick, and Misha; a sister, Leslie Clavier (Chris) of Sedalia; two nieces, Maddi and Chloe; and his best friend, Mike Carranza of Portland, OR.

A celebration of life will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, August 22, 2025, at Rea Funeral Chapel, with full military honors following at 7:00 p.m., provided by the United States Marine Corps and Sedalia VFW Post #2591.

Honorary bearers will be Mike Carranza, Joe Cochran, and Casey Samson.

Memorial contributions are suggested to the family, in care of Rea Funeral Chapel.
