Obituary For Cheryl Colene Lehmann

Cheryl Colene Lehmann, 64, of Sedalia, MO passed away Wednesday, August 18, 2021, at Bothwell Regional Health Center in Sedalia. She was born on October 15, 1956, in Kansas City, MO the daughter of John Warren Tillman and Gretchen Colene (Taylor) Tillman, who preceded her in death.

Cheryl was united in marriage to Harold Douglas Singleton, who resides in Brewton, AL. She then was united in marriage to Michael Charles Lehmann, who preceded her in death on March 13, 1996.

Cheryl was a member of Cornerstone Baptist Church, Sedalia, and also attended New Life Church in Sedalia. She worked as a dispatcher for the Benton County Sheriffs Department, retiring in 1996. She enjoyed gardening, fishing, and most of all being with her grandchildren.

Survivors include a daughter, Candice Smith (Larry) of Sedalia; four grandchildren, Tyler, Caitlyn, Jordyn, and Gracie; one great-grandson, Jaidyn; three brothers, John Tillman (Cindy), Michael Tillman (Susana), and William Thomas (Rosalee); two sisters, Anna Anderson (Shane) and Tammy Knox (Rodney); many nieces, nephews, cousins, and "adopted" grandchildren.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a son, Troy Lehmann; and a brother, Bob Tillman.

A celebration of life service will be held at 6:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 25, 2021, at Rea Funeral Chapel with Pastor Chris Guffey officiating.

The family will receive friends one hour before the service at the chapel.

Memorial contributions may be made to the family in the care of Rea Funeral Chapel.
