Cheryl Renee Ready, 58, of Warsaw, MO passed away Saturday, March 26, 2022 at Bothwell Regional Health Center in Sedalia. She was born on January 28, 1964 in Colorado Springs, CO the daughter of James Wagner and Linda (Thatcher) Wagner.
On May 18, 1991 in Phoenix, AZ she was united in marriage to Stephen Lopez Ready, who survives in the home.
During her early years, Cheryl had moved around with her family. She would reminisce about her time living In Oregon. It was here that she developed a fondness for horses, enjoying the rides she and her sister took. Later on in life she developed a fondness for pigs, especially the miniature ones and also a fondness for wolves. She would tell of seeing the logging trucks going down the road. Cheryl would recount the time a fire broke out and destroyed the house they were living in at the time, saying that everybody escaped with only what they had on.
She attended Maryvale High School in Phoenix, Az. She trained to be a CMS and CMT, eventually working in a pediatric office and then became the office manager. Cheryl loved to assist with procedures.
After moving to Prescott, AZ with her family, she did work for Wal-Mart for awhile. Cheryl loved her flowers, always looking for a good deal, especially when it came time for the mums. Yellow roses were her favorite also. She liked to bake, especially during the holidays. She made sure that holiday decorations were put up and of course, she always had to get new decorations.
Her past times included an occasional trip to the "boats" where she enjoyed playing the penny slots. Camping was another activity she enjoyed, if nothing else just to sit in the sun and enjoy nature. She loved her muscle cars, especially the 1967 Cougar. And it had to have 4 on the floor. She was not afraid of speed. Socially, she was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution, along with her mother and sister Diane. They were with the Thomas Hart Benton chapter In Benton County, MO.
Her biggest joy was her family and would anything for them. She was a mentor, counselor, loving spouse, mother and grandmother. Her faith in the Lord was never ending. She will be greatly remembered, greatly loved, greatly missed.
A special thank you to Dr Kristofik and Dr Llana for their efforts on her behalf. Also a special heartfelt thank you to the staff of 2SW and PCU. Not only caring for Cheryl, but also making sure I was alright.
