Obituary

Clinton Estle "Clint" Larsen, 48, of Smithton, Missouri, passed away on Friday, July 10, 2026, at Bothwell Regional Health Center in Sedalia.

He was born on November 30, 1977, in Kansas City, Missouri, the son of Stephen Joe Larsen and his mother and stepfather, Linda and Donald Slone, who reside in Holden, Missouri.

Clint was a proud graduate of Holden High School, Class of 1996. He continued his education at Metropolitan Community College-Longview in Lee's Summit, Missouri, where he earned an associate degree in automotive mechanics and received certification through Ford Motor Company.

Clint built a successful career around his lifelong passion for automobiles and mechanics. He worked as a mechanic for Town & Country Motors for 13 years before owning and operating his own automotive repair business in Otterville, Missouri, for 10 years. Most recently, he worked as the lead diesel technician at Rick Ball Ford in Sedalia.

Clint loved spending time outdoors, especially hunting, fishing, and participating in shooting sports. He also had a passion for all forms of power sports, including motorcycles, boats, trucks, cars, and racing.

Above all, Clint treasured time spent with his family and friends. He especially enjoyed hosting parties, cookouts, holiday celebrations, and other gatherings that brought everyone together. Those moments and the memories created with the people he loved were deeply meaningful to him.

Survivors include his mother and stepfather, Linda and Donald Slone of Holden; his son, Chance Larsen and his wife, Kate, of Sedalia; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family members, and friends.

Clint was preceded in death by his father, Stephen Joe Larsen, and his sister, Stephanie L. Larsen-Brown.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, July 21, 2026, at Rea Funeral Chapel, with Pastor Aaron Roberts officiating.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until service time at the chapel.

Burial will follow at I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Otterville, Missouri.

Pallbearers will be Chance Larsen, Obie Holem, Bryan Buso, Parker LaBille, Bryce Rowles, and Bubby Buso.

In lieu of plants and flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to Enon Baptist Church in Pittsville, Missouri, in care of Rea Funeral Chapel.
