Craig A. Greene

Craig A. Greene, 61, of Sedalia, MO, passed away Tuesday, October 7, 2025, at Bothwell Regional Health Center in Sedalia. He was born July 31, 1964, in Sedalia, the son of Kenneth P. Greene and Ruth M. (Albers) Greene, who preceded him in death.

On December 5, 1992, in Sedalia, he was united in marriage to Rebecca J. Fiedler, who resides in the home.

Craig was a proud graduate of Smith-Cotton High School, Class of 1982. He went on to further his education, earning his Associate Degree in Industrial Maintenance from State Fair Community College in 2004. He worked as a Maintenance Technician for Maxion Wheels (formerly Hayes-Lemmerz) until 2008, when his health led him to retire.

Craig was an avid sports fan who especially loved cheering on the St. Louis Blues and St. Louis Cardinals. He enjoyed gardening, camping, and fishing, but his greatest joy came from spending time with his family - especially his boys and grandchildren. One of his favorite pastimes was watching trains go by with his grandson, Kessler.

In addition to his wife, Craig is survived by three sons, Zachary Greene (Molly) of Sedalia, Connor Greene (Kayla) of Fort Bragg, NC, and Seth Greene of Manhattan, KS; four grandchildren, Evengeline, Myla, Kessler, and Millie; three brothers, Pete Greene (Dianna) of Sedalia, Robert Greene (Christy) of Blair, NE, and Kevin Greene (Francis) of Sedalia; as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In addition to his parents, Craig was preceded in death by a sister, Patricia Greene; two brothers, Paul Greene and Tim Greene; and a great-niece, Mariah.

A celebration of life service will be held at 4:00 p.m., Friday, October 10, 2025, at Rea Funeral Chapel with Pastor Travis Battershell officiating.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the chapel.

A private family burial will be held at a later date in Crown Hill Cemetery.

Memorial contributions are suggested to Shriners Children's Hospital, in care of Rea Funeral Chapel.
