David Eugene Schlons Sr., 71, of Sedalia, Missouri, passed away on May 27, 2026, at his home in Sedalia. He was born on June 6, 1954, in Sedalia, Missouri, the son of Dan and Nellie Schlons, who preceded him in death.

He was united in marriage to Forristine Smith, who preceded him in death.

David is survived by a son, Forrest Schlons, of Sedalia, MO.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Rea Funeral Chapel.
