Delfina Gonzalez

Delfina Gonzalez, 46, of Sedalia, MO, passed away on Saturday, October 25, 2025, at Fair View Nursing Home in Sedalia. She was born on October 20, 1979, in Orange County, CA, the daughter of Pedro Gonzalez and Martha Quezada, who reside in Sedalia.

Delfina was a proud graduate of Smithton High School, Class of 1999. She was known for her beautiful smile, kind heart, and contagious laugh that could light up any room. Delfina had a wonderful sense of style and loved spending time with her family. She enjoyed camping trips, cooking for family gatherings, and shopping adventures with her nieces and nephews.

Above all, Delfina's greatest joy was being a mother to her son, Alex. She worked hard and did everything possible to provide for him, ensuring he had all he needed. Her deep love and devotion to her family were evident in everything she did.

In addition to her parents, Delfina is survived by her son, Alex Bishop of Marshall, MO; nine siblings, Victoria Gonzalez (Cesar) of Riverside, CA, Luis Gonzalez (Ursula) of Perris, CA, Juan Gonzalez of California, Javier Gonzalez (Kimberly) of Sedalia, Martha Zaragoza (Jose) of Romeoville, IL, Pedro Gonzalez of Sedalia, Paulina Echeverria of Perris, CA, Alejandra Gonzalez of Mexico, and Emiliano Gonzalez of Mexico; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Juan and Maria De Jesus Quezada Jara, and her paternal grandparents, Luis and Delfina Gonzalez Perez.

A celebration of life gathering with family and friends will be held at a later date.

Arrangements are under the direction of Rea Funeral Chapel.

Delfina Gonzalez, de 46 años, de Sedalia, MO, falleció el sábado 25 de octubre de 2025, en Fair View Nursing Home en Sedalia. Nació el 20 de octubre de 1979 en el condado de Orange, California, hija de Pedro Gonzalez y Martha Quezada, quienes residen en Sedalia.

Delfina fue una orgullosa graduada de Smithton High School, clase de 1999. Era conocida por su hermosa sonrisa, su buen corazón y su risa contagiosa que iluminaba cualquier lugar. Tenía un gran sentido del estilo y disfrutaba pasar tiempo con su familia. Le encantaba acampar, cocinar para las reuniones familiares y salir de compras con sus sobrinos.

Por encima de todo, la mayor alegría de Delfina fue ser madre de su hijo Alex. Trabajó arduamente y hizo todo lo posible para brindarle lo mejor, asegurándose de que no le faltara nada. Su profundo amor y dedicación por su familia se reflejaban en todo lo que hacía.

Además de sus padres, le sobrevive su hijo Alex Bishop, de Marshall, MO; nueve hermanos: Victoria Gonzalez (Cesar) de Riverside, CA; Luis Gonzalez (Ursula) de Perris, CA; Juan Gonzalez de California; Javier Gonzalez (Kimberly) de Sedalia; Martha Zaragoza (Jose) de Romeoville, IL; Pedro Gonzalez de Sedalia, MO; Paulina Echeverría de Perris, CA; Alejandra Gonzalez de México; y Emiliano Gonzalez de México; así como numerosos tíos, tías, primos, sobrinos y sobrinas.

Le precedieron en muerte sus abuelos maternos, Juan y María de Jesus Quezada Jara, y sus abuelos paternos, Luis y Delfina Gonzalez Perez.

Una reunión de celebración de vida con familiares y amigos se llevará a cabo en una fecha posterior.
