Dick Lee Klein, 77, of Sedalia, MO, passed away on Sunday, April 13, 2025, at the Aviston Countryside Living Center, in Aviston, IL. He was born on June 27, 1947, in Sedalia, MO, the son of Norman Ray Klein and Betty Lee (Beck) Klein, who preceded him in death.

On July 3, 1971, in Smithton, MO, he was united in marriage to Carol Dickson.

Dick was a member of Flat Creek Baptist Church. He served his country honorably in the United States Navy. Dick worked as an United States Postal Carrier, retiring after 34 years. He enjoyed playing volleyball, softball, and working on his '55 Chevy. Dick was an avid Kansas City Royals and Chiefs fan.

In addition to his wife, Dick is survived by a daughter, Jill Williamson (Martin) of Lebanon, IL; a brother, Norman Ray Klein; and six grandchildren , Aaron, Justin (Kiernyn), Hunter, Trevor, Zander, and Kayla, and three great grandchildren Lucas, Damon, and Gunner.

In addition to his parents, Dick was preceded in death by a son, Justin Ray Klein; three daughters, Wendy Dawn Klein, Jennifer Dian Klein, and Nicole Rene Klein; and his stepfather, George Dye.

A celebration of life service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, June 14, 2025, at Flat Creek Baptist Church, Rural Sedalia, with pastor James Harrod officiating.

Inurnment will follow at Flat Creek Cemetery with full military honors conducted by the VFW Post #2591 and the United States Navy.

Arrangements are in the care of Rea Funeral Chapel.
