Donald LeRoy Hill, 83, of Green Ridge, Missouri, passed away peacefully at his home on October 5, 2026. Born on April 23, 1943, in Sedalia, Missouri, he was the beloved son of Norman and Elizabeth (Settles) Hill, both of whom preceded him in death.

On September 27, 1981, Donald was united in marriage to Janice Kay Sherwood at El Dorado United Methodist Church in Green Ridge, Missouri. Janice, his devoted wife of 45 years, survives him at their home.

Donald retired from Pittsburg Corning after many dedicated years of service. An avid outdoorsman, he found great joy in fishing and target shooting, and he delighted in racing his lawn mowers around the yard. Donald was known for his cheerful spirit and never met a stranger. Deeply involved in his faith, he was an active member of Calhoun Community Church. He also had a passion for collecting antique cars and tractors, which brought him much happiness.

In addition to his beloved wife, Donald is survived by his five children: Pamela Park (Todd Kleinfelder), David Hill, Nancy Slebos (Ryan), Warren Garrett (Melanie), and Jennifer Wiseman (Kevin). He is also remembered by his daughter-in-law, Victoria Hill; 12 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; his brother, Larry Hill (Linda); two sisters, June Tipton and Jean Ward; and many cherished nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Besides his parents, Donald is preceded in death by a son, LeRoy Hill, and previous wife, Myra George.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, October 13, 2026, at Rea Funeral Chapel, Sedalia, Missouri, with Pastor Jerry Reid officiating.

The visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the chapel.

The burial will follow the service at Hickory Point Cemetery, Green Ridge, MO.

Pallbearers will be Jon Hill, Josh Kamery, Don Shoop, Virgil Nunes, Shane Hill, and Shawn Blake.

Honorary bearers will be Phil Kimmel, Larry Hill, and Warren Garrett.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Calhoun Community Church, in the care of Rea Funeral Chapel.

Arrangements are under the direction of Rea Funeral Chapel.
