Francis "Frank" Marion Adams Jr.

Francis "Frank" Marion Adams Jr., 72, of Sedalia, MO, passed away on Saturday, July 8, 2023, at Bothwell Regional Health Center in Sedalia. He was born on June 10, 1951, in Sedalia, the son of Francis Marion Adams Sr. and Veneetie Caroline (Hays) Adams King, who preceded him in death.

Frank worked for Bing's Supermarket for over 30 years, retiring in 2011. His favorite pastime was being outdoors fishing. He was a very loyal Kansas City Chiefs fan since the 1970s. He rarely missed a Chiefs game. His favorite player was Patrick Mahomes, who he thought was the best quarterback ever to play football. He also enjoyed watching Nascar racing and attending classic car shows.

Frank is survived by a brother-in-law Lew Knox of Sedalia; many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews living in Sedalia, Springfield, South Carolina, and Hawaii; two cousins, Debbie Mutz and her husband Walter, and Kenneth Hays all of Sedalia.

Besides his parents, Frank is preceded in death by a brother, Lawrence Adams, and sisters, Ellen Knox and Margaret Vaughn.

Graveside service will be held on Friday, July 14, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. at Highland Sacred Gardens, with pastor Chris Traffanstedt officiating.

Pallbearers will be Walter Mutz, Dalton Coffey, Broden Riley, Lew Knox, Rhapsody Coffey, and Crista Coffey.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association in the care of Rea Funeral Chapel.
