Heather Carroll

Heather Carroll, 44, of Sedalia, MO, passed away on Friday, September 8, 2023, at Barnes-Jewish West County Hospital in St. Louis, MO. She was born on July 12, 1979, in Lee's Summit, MO, the daughter of Jim Brown, who preceded her in death, and Renette Brown (Cox), who resides in Sedalia.

Heather was a 1998 graduate of Smith-Cotton High School. She attended State Fair Community College. Heather worked for Print Lynx for several years. She enjoyed shopping, watching Christmas movies, collecting owl figurines, and her favorite color was "Pink." Heather especially loved spending time with her family and children and being a mom.

In addition to her mother, Heather is survived by three children, MaShayla Hern, Ashlenn Carroll, and Jayvon Carroll, all of the home; two sisters, Danette (Doug) Renfer and Jamie Parish (Dusty) of Sedalia; two nieces, Skyler Atkinson, and Brianna Atkinson; a nephew, Zayden Archibeque; a great nephew, Travis Atkinson; one aunt, Tami "TT" Washington; and three cousins, Courtney Bell, Oaklyn Bell, and Jonzel (Katie) Washington.

In addition to her father, Heather was preceded in death by a nephew, Daylon Parish; a brother, Jimboe Atkinson; and her maternal grandmother, Irene Cox.

Funeral services will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 13, 2023, at Rea Funeral Chapel with Pastor Jason Kindle officiating.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the chapel.
