Jack Anthony Richardson

Jack Anthony Richardson, 59, of Sedalia, MO, formerly of Clinton, MO, passed away on Tuesday, January 16, 2024, at his home. He was born on November 30, 1964, in Lexington, MO, the son of Charles Lee Richardson, who preceded him in death, and Erma Jean (Harrison) Richardson, who resides in Higginsville, MO.

Jack was a 1982 graduate of Clinton High School. He worked as a welder for Blue Demon Company, Inc. in Sedalia. Jack was an avid outdoorsman. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, being in nature, and cooking for his family. Jack loved all types of animals. He was an excellent craftsman. Jack loved to do woodworking and carpentry.

In addition to his mother, Jack is survived by a daughter, Sarah Smith (Cole) of Richmond, MO; a son, Joshua Richardson of Clinton, MO; two grandsons, Parker and Preston; a sister, Jennifer DeLapp (John) of Higginsville, MO; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In addition to his father, Jack was preceded in death by three brothers, Charles Jr., James, and Joe Richardson, and a sister, Melody Brown.

The family will have a private celebration of life to be held at a later date.
