Obituary For James Alfred Howe, Jr.

James Alfred Howe Jr., 58, of Green Ridge, MO., passed away Monday, December 6, 2021, at his home. On January 4, 1963, he was born in Warrensburg, MO, the son of James Alfred Howe and Dottie Mae (Baggett) Howe, who preceded him in death.

On June 16, 1995, in Osage Beach, MO, he was united in marriage to Heike Susanne Koerner, who resides in the home.

James attended Tipton High School. He worked as a welder for E.J. Dunn in Sedalia. James was a mechanic and did bodywork on vehicles for family and friends. James enjoyed going fishing, hunting, camping, and just about anything related to being outdoors. He loved spending time with his family, friends, and especially his grandchildren.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by four daughters, Sarah Smith (Stephanie) of Sedalia, Lindsey Smith of Green Bay, WI, Shelby Mae Howe (Gabi) of Sedalia and Lottie Marie Howe of Springfield, MO; seven sons, Daniel Brown (Kimberly) of Columbia, MO, Wesley Howe (Briana) of Sedalia, Robert Howe of Springfield, MO, Ronald Howe of St. Louis, MO, William Howe of Sedalia, Nicolas Howe of Osage Beach, MO, and Cody Howe (Kaitlyn) of Columbia, MO; 23 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren; a brother, William Howe (Rhonda) of Walker, LA; two sisters, Tammie Blackmore (Everett) and Vena Howe both of Stover, MO; his best friend, Terry Hammond of Sedalia; and many nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Tracy Alan Howe, and a grandson, Seth William Cunningham Howe.

A celebration of life gathering of family and friends will be held from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. Monday, December 13, 2021, at Rea Funeral Chapel.

Arrangements are under the direction of Rea Funeral Chapel.
