James Warner Shull

James Warner Shull, 64, of Mexico, MO, passed away on Monday, June 22, 2026, in Columbia, Missouri. He was born on February 13, 1962, in Sedalia, Missouri, the son of James Wayne Shull and Thelma Louise (Colmer) Shull, who preceded him in death.

James was a proud graduate of Smith-Cotton High School, Class of 1980. He owned and operated a commercial cleaning business in Columbia, MO. James will be remembered for his generous heart and his willingness to help friends and family in any way he could.

James is survived by his brother, Vernon Wayne Shull, of Fulton, MO; two sisters, Sherri Ashby, of Gulfport, MS, and Tami Brooks and her husband, Keith, of Sedalia, MO; along with many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, James was preceded in death by his stepmother, Jeanetta Buckley Shull.

In accordance with James' wishes, no formal services will be held.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society in the care of Rea Funeral Chapel.

Before his passing, James expressed that he would like to give a special thank-you to his friend, Kevin, for the care and kindness he showed him.

Cremation arrangements are in the care of Rea Funeral Chapel.
