John A. Spillers

John A. Spillers, 72, of Sedalia, MO passed away Saturday, April 16, 2022 at University of Missouri Hospital in Columbia, MO. He was born on August 22, 1949 in Fayetteville, AR the son of Euell and Helen (Keene) Spillers, who preceded him in death.

On February 8, 1980 in Fayetteville, AR he was united in marriage to Sharon Sue LaDue, who survives of the home.

John worked as a truck driver for American Compressed Steel/Advantage Metals from 1984 until 2019 when he retired. John enjoyed fishing, NASCAR and collecting model trucks. He was a member of LifePointe Church, Sedalia.

Along with his wife he is survived by two daughters, Louise Guthrie, of Fayetteville, AR and Chandra "Candy" Younce (Allen) of Sedalia; two sons, Shawn Kramer (Andrea) of Denver, CO and Gerald "Gerry" Kramer (Ashley) of Sedalia; one sister, Patsy Marshall of Tulsa, OK; two brothers, Jerry Spillers of West Fork, AR and Danny Spillers of Tennessee; 21 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.

In addition his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Johnny Spillers; a daughter, Mary Reed; a granddaughter Abby Spillers; two sisters, Wanda Spillers and Linda Combs; and one brother, Larry Spillers.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, April 21, 2022 at LifePointe Church, Sedalia with Pastor Rusty Thomas officiating.

Family will receive friends one hour prior to service at the church.
