Joyce R. Debeaubien

Joyce R. Debeaubien, 78, of Sedalia, MO passed away Friday, April 16, 2021 at Warsaw Health and Rehabilitation Center. She was born on October 9, 1942 in Sedalia, MO the daughter of Virgil Bishop Ream and Mary Viola Hunt, who have preceded her in death.

Joyce was a student at Tanglenook School, Smith-Cotton High School and went to College in Warrensburg, MO. She married in July of 1968 and went to Germany with her husband. Joyce taught school in Climax Springs and was a substitute at St. Paul's Lutheran School. She was a school crossing guard at Washington, Whittier and Parkview. She enjoyed each moment of teaching and protecting the children. Joyce was a member of East Sedalia Baptist Church. She loved working in the Nursery and helping in the kitchen.

She is survived by one son, Christopher Sean Debeaubien (Lynn) of Sedalia; one granddaughter, Jessica Marie Boesing; one great grandson, Kyle Donald Boesing; two sisters, Sharon Kay Brennan Wasson and Linda Lou Ream, both of Sedalia.

She is preceded in death by one son, Frederick Ronald Debeaubien.

A Graveside service will be held at 3:00 pm, on Thursday, April 22, 2021 at Mt. Herman Cemetery with Pastor Tim Smith officiating.

Pallbearers will be Scott Rambo, Stacy Rambo, Seth Ream, Linden Ream, Jessica Boesing and Ivan Ream.

In lieu of flowers, family suggests memorial contributions to East Sedalia Baptist Church Nursery or American Cancer Society for Cancer Research for Ronnie.

Arrangements are under the direction of Rea Funeral Chapel.
