Juanita Marie Burford, 64, of Sedalia, Missouri, passed away Friday, February 28, 2026, at her home. She was born November 22, 1961, in Sedalia, the daughter of Hubert Burford, Jr. and Mary Ann (Arnold) Burford, who preceded her in death.

Juanita worked for many years at the Shelter Workshop in St. Louis, Missouri, retiring after a dedicated career. She found joy in the simple and meaningful things, looking through books, singing, and spending time at the First United Methodist Church Celebration Center. In earlier years, she enjoyed bowling and was a loyal sports fan, cheering for the St. Louis Cardinals, the St. Louis Rams, and the Kansas City Chiefs.

Juanita is survived by two uncles, Ernest Arnold and Albert Arnold, Jr.; two aunts, Catherine Arnold and Sharon Doll; and three cousins, Becky Gonzales, Richard Miller, and Lee Arnold.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by an aunt, Alberta Miller, and an uncle, J. E. Arnold.

A private burial will be held at a later date at Potter's Cemetery in rural Cooper County, Missouri.
