Kassandra Denise Dowler, 21, of Sedalia, MO, passed away Monday, September 6, 2021, at Bothwell Regional Health Center. On September 8, 1999, she was born in Sedalia to Jess and Michelle (Decker) Dowler, who reside in Sedalia.
Kassandra was a 2018 graduate of Smith-Cotton High School. She worked as a Certified Nurse Aide in the Home Health Industry. Kassandra loved her daughter Gracelynn more than anything. She enjoyed sunsets, bonfires and loved being with her friends. Kas' played volleyball and softball. All though she lived in the city, she was a country girl at heart.
Besides her parents, she is survived by a daughter Gracelynn Rene Thorton, of the home; Maternal Grandparents, Larry and Linda Decker.
She is preceded in death by her Paternal Grandparents, Don and Mary Dowler.
A memorial graveside service for family and close friends will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, September 14, 2021, at Crown Hill Cemetery, with Pastor Kevin Anstine officiating.
Memorial contributions may be made to the family to educate Kassandra's daughter, Gracelynn Rene, instead of flowers and plants.
After the graveside service, the family will be going to Liberty Park to greet all of Kassandra's friends to talk about Kas's life and loves.
Arrangements are the care of Rea Funeral Chapel.
