Kent E. Gordon

Kent E. Gordon, 58, of Hughesville passed away Saturday, November 27, 2021 at Bothwell Regional Health Center in Sedalia. He was born on October 9, 1963 in Sedalia the son of Eugene C. Gordon and Billy Jo (Garrison) Gordon who preceded him in death.

He was a 1982 graduate of Northwest High School, Hughesville. After graduation, Kent attended Central Missouri State University, Warrensburg. He worked for MPW Water Management Group as a Water Technician since 2011. Kent enjoyed outdoor sports, fishing, golfing and playing softball.

Survivors include a son Kyle Eugene Gordon of Hughesville; a brother, Joe Don Gordon (Linda) of Hughesville; a sister, Nancy Gordon of Springfield, MO.

A graveside service and burial will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 1, 2021 at Highpoint Cemetery, Hughesville, MO with Pastor Rusty Thomas officiating.

Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 30, 2021 at Rea Funeral Chapel, Sedalia.

In lieu of plants and flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Sedalia Animal Shelter in care of Rea Funeral Chapel.
