Krislynn was a proud graduate of Whittier High School, Class of 2018. Above all, she loved being a mom. She cherished time with her children and her family, especially her sisters, and she truly enjoyed family gatherings. Krislynn had a fun, vibrant spirit, she loved getting her nails done, doing her girls' hair, listening to music, and being outdoors, often taking the kids to the creek. Some of her sweetest moments were spent at home watching cooking shows with her mamma. Krislynn will be remembered for her big personality, kind heart, and free spirit that brought joy to those around her.
In addition to her parents, survivors include four children, Amiya, Novalynn, Paisley, and Oliver; her significant other, Devin Paxton, of the home; her stepfather, David Dennis, of Sedalia; three sisters, Raven Salazar (Jorge), Sky Dennis, and Noelle Dennis, all of Sedalia; four nephews, Syllas, Suede, Hunter, and Miles; three nieces, Stella, Kylee, and Zadia; her paternal grandfather, Shawn T. Armstrong (Lynn), of Illinois; her paternal grandmother, Gail Lemaire, of Sedalia; her step-maternal grandparents, Tim and Kathy Herrick, of Sedalia; and her great-uncle and aunt, Meffer and Melvin McMullin.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Lisa and Carl Goodnight; her paternal grandfather, Joe Lemaire; and her stepmother, Christina Rice.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, February 20, 2026, at Rea Funeral Chapel with Pastor Joe Smith officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the chapel. Burial will follow at Crown Hill Cemetery in Sedalia.
