Kristi Sue Parker, 66, of Sedalia, MO, passed away on Monday, June 2, 2025, at her home. She was born on January 16, 1959, in Lincoln, NE, the daughter of Donald Lee Crosby and Donna Mae (Springsguth) Crosby, who reside in Lincoln, NE.
She was united in marriage to Joseph C. Parker, who preceded her in death on October 29, 2018.
Kristi had a deep love for travel, especially the time she spent with her husband in Belize before his passing. During those trips, she developed a love and fascination with dolphins, and the ocean always held a special place in her heart.
She cherished life's simple pleasures - feeding hummingbirds by the hundreds, tending to her garden, and caring for her many houseplants. Antiquing and genealogy brought her hours of joy, and she spent countless hours researching her family history. Known for her sense of order, she took pride in being organized-her label maker was one of her favorite tools. Kristi was also an excellent cook who passed down recipes and kitchen skills to her children.
Before retiring, Kristi worked as a nurse in home health and nursing homes, where she brought comfort and compassion to countless people. Her care and dedication touched many lives.
She enjoyed Yahtzee and Words with Friends, she played daily with her sisters and her father.
Above all, Kristi's family was her greatest joy. She raised two successful children and took immense pride in the families they built. She adored watching her granddaughters grow and loved giving them gifts.
In addition to her parents, Kristi is survived by two children, Brandi Warner (Curtis) of Columbus, NE, and Jason Gray (Misty) of Sedalia; four grandchildren, Ashley, Jenna, Emma, and Sage; two sisters, Deb Eckhardt (Jim) and Cheri Thaller (Sam) all of Lincoln, NE; and many nieces and nephews.
