Linda Ann May

Linda May, 72, of Sedalia, MO, passed away on Saturday, June 14, 2025, at Mercy Hospital in Springfield, MO. She was born on January 10, 1953, in Sedalia, MO, the daughter of George and Genevieve Bennett, who preceded her in death.

Linda enjoyed spending time with her family, fishing, and playing bingo. She was a great mother, and grandmother, but an even better great-grandmother. May she rest in peace. She will be missed.

Linda is survived by her three children, Lisa Norton of Oklahoma City, Shelia Vannoy of Sedalia, MO, and Heath May of Georgetown; eight grandchildren, Shelby Moreland (Jeffrey), Kelsey Evans (William), Bailey Rodriguez, Jenna Norton, Aja Vannoy, Madison Lyles, Genesis May and Hannah May (Colton); eight great-grandchildren, Hope, Judifrea and Evelyn Jeffries, Joslyn, Elisabeth and Autumn Evans, Sebastian and Parker Rodriguez, and Thatcher and Stetson Long.

Besides her parents, Linda was preceded in death by her husband of 28 years, Harvey L. May; three siblings, Rudy Bennett, Betty Hill, and Patty Paredes; and a daughter-in-law, Amanda May.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Julie Davis for all that she did for Linda and the family.
