Linda Sue Irvine

Linda Sue Irvine, 73, of Sedalia, MO, formerly of West Alton, MO, passed away Sunday, February 6, 2022 at her home. She was born on June 17, 1948 in Fayetteville, AR the daughter of Robert Gene Gibson and Billie Jean (Dutton) Gibson, who preceded her in death.

She was a 1966 graduate of Blue Springs High School, Blue Springs, MO. Linda was involved with her son in Boy Scouts Troop 740 in St. Louis, as a Troop Leader. She enjoyed gardening, loved her animals and especially loved her son and grandchildren.

She is survived by a son, Shawn Irvine (Jackie) of Sedalia; two grandchildren, Emma and Lincoln; and a brother, John R. Gibson of Success, MO.

A Celebration of Life gathering of family and friends will be held from 6:30 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. Friday, February 11, 2022 at Rea Funeral Chapel, Sedalia.

Memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society in care of the funeral chapel.
