Lisa Ann Moon

Lisa Ann Moon, 65, of Sedalia, MO, passed away on August 15, 2025, at the University of Missouri Hospital in Columbia, MO. She was born on December 21, 1959, in Sedalia, MO, to Bennie Ray Pummill and Shirley Ann Pohl, both of whom preceded her in death.

On October 13, 1979, she married Pat Moon in Sedalia, MO, who survives her.

Lisa graduated from Smith-Cotton High School in 1978. She had a passion for shopping and loved planning events for her nieces and nephews, including baby showers, birthdays, and weddings. An avid Royals fan, she enjoyed watching "Friends" and "The Big Bang Theory." She was also an enthusiastic reader and loved cooking for others, often hosting large meals. Lisa was deeply engaged in the lives of everyone around her, leaving a lasting impression on those she met. However, her favorite moments were spent with family, especially her grandchildren.

In addition to her husband, Pat, Lisa is survived by her three children: Lindsey Moon, Erin Moon, and Nick Moon and his wife, Heather; four grandchildren: Sabra Moon, Addison Elliott, Bogan Lines, and Keegan Moon; two sisters: Dena McFarland (Bill) and Robyn Pummill; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister, Rebecca Pummill, and a sister-in-law, Kate Perry.

A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Isla Cares Foundation, in care of Rea Funeral Chapel.
