Marcia Kay BeDell

Marcia K. BeDell, 70, passed away on May 5, 2026, at Four Seasons Living Center in Sedalia, MO, where she had been a resident for many years. She was born in Manhattan, Kansas, on January 21, 1956, alongside her twin brother, Mark K. BeDell. Marcia was the daughter of James and Glenda BeDell. She graduated from Marionville High School in Marionville, MO, in 1974 and, a few years later, received a degree in industrial safety from the University of Central Missouri in Warrensburg, Missouri.

Marcia is survived by her two daughters, Jennifer Sherify (Springfield, MO) and Susan Watts (Kansas City, MO); one grandson, Cameron Murray; two granddaughters, Abby Watts (Springfield) and October Sherify (Chicago); brothers, Andrew Dean (Springfield, MO), Mark Kevin (Las Vegas, NV), and Jonathan Rob (Katy, TX); and a sister, Glenda May Gibson (Springfield, MO). She is also survived by six nieces and three nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Glenda Mae and James Robert BeDell; her sisters, Barbara Marie BeDell, Jamie Murry, and Stephanie Harter; and her brother, Patrick Daniel BeDell.

A celebration of life will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 13, 2026, at the New Dawn United Pentecostal, 1103 E High Street, Aurora, MO 65605. A graveside service will follow immediately after the service at the Marionville IOOF cemetery.
