Marcia Ruth Pertgen

Marcia Ruth Pertgen, 75, of Lincoln, MO, passed away on Thursday, February 1, 2024, at Bothwell Regional Health Center in Sedalia. She was born on October 6, 1948, in Denver, CO, the daughter of Marv Mitchell and Ruth (Morris) Mitchell, who preceded her in death.

On December 30, 1995, she was united in marriage to Philip Howe Pertgen, who preceded her in death on March 10, 2018.

Marcia worked for AT&T as a secretary for many years until her retirement. She loved sewing, horseback riding, and ceramic pottery.

Survivors include a daughter, Britny Beckwith (John) of Plainfield, Illinois, and a grandson, Ryan Beckwith.

In addition to her husband, Marcia was preceded in death by a daughter, Andrea Reese.

There will be no formal services held.

Arrangements are under the direction of Rea Funeral Chapel.
