Marie Elena Webb

Marie Elena Webb, 83, of Sedalia, MO, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 16, 2025, at Sylvia G. Thompson Residence Center in Sedalia. She was born on October 9, 1941, in Turtle Lake, ND, the daughter of Theodore and Dolly (Meyers) Anderson, who preceded her in death.

Marie devoted much of her life to caring for children. She worked for Kid Konnection in Sedalia, now known as the Center for Human Services-Dawn Compton Early Learning Center, where her dedication and love for little ones touched countless families. Above all, Marie cherished time with her grandchildren, who were the joy of her life.

Marie was a loyal follower of Jesus. She will be remembered for her lively sense of humor, her love of joking around, and her warm, accepting spirit. Marie had a special affection for animals, especially her beloved cats. She enjoyed dancing, listening to music, and taking walks outdoors. Holidays were her favorite time of year, she loved to decorate in abundance, creating a festive and welcoming home. Marie's heart was pure and giving; she offered love and support freely, without judgment, to anyone in need.

She is survived by five children, Teresa Tyler (Noel) of Concordia, MO, Roger Stein of Sedalia, Brenda Stein of Minot, ND, Jodi Warren (Ricky) of Sedalia, and Michael Stein of Sedalia; a sister, Avis Newman of Minot, ND; as well as numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three sisters, Dorothy Beaulie, Theola Simmons, and Edith; and three brothers, Kenneth Anderson, Buster Anderson, and Buddy Anderson.

A celebration of Marie's life will be held from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Friday, September 19, 2025, at Rea Funeral Chapel, Sedalia.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or the Sedalia Animal Shelter, in care of Rea Funeral Chapel.
