Martha Claudell Moore, 86, of Sedalia, MO passed away Friday, March 19, 2021, at the University of Missouri Hospital in Columbia, MO. She was born on October 11, 1934, in Otterville, MO the daughter of Claude W. Goode and Della R (Adams) Goode, who preceded her in death.
On May 7, 1954, in Sedalia, MO she was united in marriage to Donald L. Moore, Sr. who preceded her in death on April 19, 1998.
Martha was a member of East Sedalia Baptist Church. She worked as the Secretary for OATS public transportation for 25 years. Martha enjoyed reading novels, embroidering, and quilting. She loved going to garage sales and especially loved spending time with her family.
Survivors include two sons, Tony L. Moore (Terri) of Bonner Springs, KS and Jimmy Moore (Shari) of Sedalia; six grandchildren, Donald, James, Jennifer (Adam), Lorna (Tony), Jimmy, Jr., and Joshua; eight great-grandchildren; a sister, Dorothy Williams (Allen) of Hot Springs Village, AR; a daughter-in-law, Merry Moore of Sedalia; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a son Donald L. Moore, Jr.
A memorial graveside committal will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, March 26, 2021, at Memorial Park Cemetery with Rev. Tim Smith officiating.
Honorary bearers will be Janice Dalleen and Margaret LeFevers.
Memorial contributions may be made to East Sedalia Baptist Church in the care of Rea Funeral Chapel, Sedalia.
