Mason Jacob Clark

Mason Jacob Clark, 15, of Sedalia, MO, passed away Thursday, March 10, 2022 at his home. He was born on July 27, 2006 in Oklahoma City, OK, the son of Shawn Michael Clark and Vickey Ann (McCormack) Clark who reside in the home.

Mason received an honorary diploma from Smith-Cotton High School, Class of 2024. Mason enjoyed playing video games and watching YouTube videos. His favorite pastime was going out deer hunting and turkey hunting with Harry Hoffert. Mason also went Ferel Hog hunting in the State of California. He especially loved more then anything, being with his family on both sides and going to MDA camp, where he was just a kid at camp.

Along with his parents, he is survived by a sister, Christy Carter (Jack) of Warrensburg; a brother, Steven Clark, of Butler, MO; maternal grandmother, Lori McCormack, of Sedalia; paternal grandmother, Janet Clark, of Sedalia; two uncles, Charles McCormack (Mona) of Sedalia, and Pat McCormack (Cindy) of Lee's Summit, MO; three aunts, Penny Yach (Mark Boyce), Val Miller (Randy), and Katrina Lawrence (Glenn), all of Sedalia; a sister-in-law, Victoria Clark of Sedalia; two nieces, Kimora Carter and Annabelle Clark; and a nephew, James M. Clark.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Jamie Clark; a sister, Adrian Clark; maternal grandparents, John and Patty McCormack; paternal grandfather, James E. Clark; three uncles, John Jr., Michael, and Brian McCormack; and a great nephew, Wyatt McCormack.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 26, 2022 at Rea Funeral Chapel with Pastor Jason Kindle officiating.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the chapel.

Honorary bearers will be Harry Hoffert, Rob Anstine, Andrew McCormack, Kevin White, Jordan McCormack, Shane Ederson, Shannon Patrick, Amanda Brown, and Aaron Brown.

Family and friends may make memorial contributions to the family in care of Rea Funeral Chapel.
