Michael T. Roberts, 68, of Sedalia, Missouri, formerly of St. Louis, Missouri, passed away Thursday, March 26, 2026, at his home in Sedalia.
He was born August 14, 1957, in St. Louis, Missouri, the son of Otto T. Roberts and Dolly L. (Rulo) Roberts, who both preceded him in death.
Mike honorably served his country in the United States Navy. He had a true passion for auto body work and mechanics, and he especially enjoyed repairing, collecting, and restoring cars and trucks of all makes and models. Mike was also a talented artist who could create something meaningful out of almost anything. He had a deep love for animals and, throughout his life, rescued several from shelters. Above all, Mike cherished time spent with his family and friends. He will be remembered for his compassion, generous heart, and willingness to help anyone in need.
Mike is survived by his two children, Michael T. Roberts, Jr. and Jimmy L. Roberts, both of St. Louis; four siblings, Dennis O. Roberts (Dollie) of Arnold, Missouri, Angel Hughes (Wade) of Sedalia, Brian K. Roberts of Rhineland, Missouri, and David L. Roberts (Lisa) of House Springs, Missouri; one granddaughter; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family members.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Denise L. Morgan, and one brother, Thomas Roberts.
A graveside service and burial will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, April 2, 2026, at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery in St. Louis, with full military honors conducted by the United States Navy.
Pallbearers will be Dennis O. Roberts, David L. Roberts, Dalton Hughes, Kevin James, Kyle Roberts, and Brian Roberts.
Memorial contributions may be made to Pawsabilities Are Endless, in care of Rea Funeral Chapel.
Arrangements are under the direction of Rea Funeral Chapel.
