Milton Wayne Kohl, 93, of Sedalia, Missouri, passed away on August 11, 2026, at Bothwell Regional Health Center in Sedalia. He was born on August 21, 1932, in Kandiyohi, Minnesota, the son of Bert Kohl and Nellie McLane, who preceded him in death.

On February 19, 1955, at Clear Creek Church near Pilot Grove, Missouri, he was united in marriage to Georgia Grace Twenter, who preceded him in death on December 15, 2020.

Following high school, Milton joined the Air Force and was honorably discharged from Whiteman Air Force Base, where he met Georgia and made Sedalia their home. He worked as a clerk at the post office. Milton enjoyed fishing, crafting, and square dancing. After retirement, he and Georgia traveled to all 50 states, with Silver Dollar City in Branson among his favorite destinations.

He is survived by three children, Dianne Rhodus and her husband Darrell of Sedalia, Missouri, Duane Kohl of Kokomo, Indiana, and Gary Kohl and his wife Melonie of Sedalia, Missouri; 11 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; 8 great-great-grandchildren; a sister, Shirley R. of Rochester, Minnesota; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Besides his parents and wife, Milton is preceded in death by a brother, Orvil Kohl.

A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, August 17, 2026, at Memorial Park Cemetery, with full military honors provided by the VFW Post # 2591 and the United States Air Force.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Dementia Society of America; no flowers requested, in the care of Rea Funeral Chapel.
