Monita Gail Schofield

Monita Gail Schofield, 82, of Sedalia, MO, passed away on August 20, 2024, at Bothwell Regional Health Center in Sedalia. She was born on February 5, 1942, in Minco, OK, the daughter of William Edward and Mabel Juanita (Wyatt) Mackey, who preceded her in death.

On October 28, 1960, in Barstow, CA, she was united in marriage to Arthur Randall Schofield, who resides in the home.

Gail loved spending time with family, especially during family dinners and get-togethers. She loved playing bingo with her "bingo babes." She enjoyed visiting with friends and neighbors.

Besides her husband, Gail is survived by a daughter, Penny Pummill (Terry); a son, Wes Schofield (Em); four grandchildren, Brian Pummill, Ashley Kerouac (Jake), Merrick Schofield, and Andre Schofield; four great-grandchildren, Clayton Pummill, Mackey Pummill, T.J. Kerouac, and Asher Kerouac; and many beloved nieces, nephews, extended family and friends to numerous to mention.

Besides her parents, Gail was preceded in death by three siblings, Reford Mackey, Barbara Tubbs, and Doris Scarbrough.

No services are being held at this time; however, please share your favorite memories of Gail.
