Nicholas R. Franklin

Nicholas "Nick" R. Franklin, 73, of Sedalia, passed away on May 04, 2025, at Bothwell Regional Health Center in Sedalia, Missouri. He was born on August 08, 1951, in Sedalia, Missouri, the son of Perry Arnold Franklin and Ella Imogen Lane, who preceded him in death.

Nick worked as a Heavy Equipment Operator for many years. He loved to dance, socialize, and fish.

Nick is survived by two sons, Chris (Amy) Franklin and Jeremy (Kim) Franklin. One sister Jeanie (Ed) Mosier. Five grandchildren: Jack Franklin, Karlie Franklin, Jameson Franklin, Clint Franklin, and Pete Franklin. As well as many nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, Nick was preceded in death by one infant son, Steven Franklin, and three brothers, Richard (Joyce) Lilly, Tommy (Janice) Lilly, and Clinton (Beverly) Franklin. Grandparents Bill and Ella Meyer and Clinton and Helen Franklin. One grandchild, Parker Franklin. A brother-in-law, Ed Mosier, and nephew, little Eddie Mosier.

Per Nick's request, there will be no services.

Arrangements are under the direction of Rea Funeral Chapel.
