Obituary For Oksana Yevtikhiyevna Kozlenko

Oksana Yevtikhiyevna Kozlenko, 52, of Sedalia, MO, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, February 2, 2023, at her home. She was born as the 10th child on February 20, 1970 in Lyman, Odessa, Ukraine into a loving home of Yevtikhiyev Kozhukharenko and Maria (Homenko) Kozhukharenko, who preceded her in death.

Oksana grew up surrounded by her large family, she had 13 other siblings. Her siblings are Galina Sidlinskaya, Vera Shcherbina, Pavel Kozhukharenko, Petr Kozhukharenko, Phillip Kozhukharenko(preceded in death), Lubov Chernomochenko, Ivan Kozhukharenko, Timothy Kozhukharenko, Nadezhda Ovseychuk, Alexander Kozhukharenko, Dina Shcherbina, Anatoly Kozhukharenko, and Tatyana Borogan. She was influenced by her family to be a loving and caring woman, always giving her time to others, and she incorporated that into motherhood. She met her husband Sergey Kozlenko, who resides in the home and they were united in Marriage on October 14, 1990 in Lyman, Odessa, Ukraine. Soon after, they had started a family and had 8 loving children. As a mother, she was generous, loving and kind, providing the best she can for a better life for her children. She had recently become a grandmother and that brought her so much joy. In her free time, She enjoyed being in her garden or going fishing with her son Artem or brother Pavel. She loved to sing hymns and pray for her family and friends. One of her favorite Bible Verses was: I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. Philippians 4:13

She will be greatly missed by family and friends; especially her husband, children and granddaughter: Denis & Mariam, Slav & Yelena & Amelia, Artem, Kristina, Daniel, Matthew, Deanna, and Liana who adore her with all their hearts.

Oksana is survived by her husband, 8 children,1 granddaughter, 12 siblings, nieces & nephews.

A prayer service will be held from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 9, 2023 at Sedalia Tabernacle Church.

Funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, February 10, 2023 at Sedalia Tabernacle Church with Pastor Petr Tysmbal officiating.

Burial will be at Crown Hill Cemetery, Sedalia, MO.

Arrangements are under the direction of Rea Funeral Chapel.
