Patricia "Pat" Louise Weir, 88, of Sedalia, MO, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, on Monday, April 27, 2026, at her home. She was born on January 27, 1938, in Beaman, MO, the daughter of Ollie Edwards Richards and Iola Francis Fischer Richards, who preceded her in death.

On November 25, 1954, in Sedalia, MO, she was united in marriage to Lee Garner Weir, who preceded her in death on January 25, 2021.

Pat attended Smith-Cotton High School and later worked for the Missouri Department of Motor Vehicles. She enjoyed many hobbies throughout her life, including golfing, bowling, tending to her flowers, bird watching, and caring for her beloved herd of feral cats. Pat had a kind and giving heart, especially when it came to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She loved them dearly and would do anything she could for them.

Pat is survived by four children, Rusty Weir (Tammy), of Sedalia, Karen Weir (Tony) of Sedalia, Ronda Barklage (Mark), of Lee's Summit, MO, and Britt Weir (Caroline), of Blue Springs, MO; ten grandchildren; nineteen great-grandchildren; her four-legged fur baby, "Molly"; and her best buddy, Shirley Martin.

In addition to her husband, Lee, and her parents, Pat was preceded in death by a son, Ricky Weir; and four brothers, Leo, Loy, Howard, and Dean Richards.

A visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. on Friday, May 1, 2026, at Rea Funeral Chapel. Burial will follow at 1:30 p.m. at Memorial Park Cemetery in Sedalia.

Honorary bearers will be Pat's grandchildren, Richard Maltsbarger, Robert Maltsbarger, Ryland Maltsbarger, Amber Nelson, Cooper Gilmore, Adwina Weir, Corey Weir, Britt Lee Weir, Scott Weir, and Chelsea Heath.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Sedalia Spay and Neuter Clinic or to Shriners Children's Hospital in the care of Rea Funeral Chapel.
