Paul W. Williams, 82, of La Monte, MO, passed away on Friday, May 9, 2025, at E.W. Thompson Health and Rehabilitation Center in Sedalia, MO. He was born on January 15, 1943, in Sedalia, the son of Paul W. Williams Sr. and Anna Belle (Howard) Williams, who preceded him in death.
On January 26, 1962, in La Monte, MO, he was united in marriage to Janet Williams, who resides in the home.
Paul was a proud graduate of the Smith-Cotton High School class of 1960. He was later drafted into the United States Army, serving honorably from 1966 to 1968. After his military service, Paul worked at Sears and Roebuck, and Montgomery Ward in Sedalia. He then spent 20 years working on the press plant line at Hayes Wheels before retiring in 2005.
Following his retirement, Paul enjoyed visiting antique shops and attending auctions with his wife, Janet. Paul especially enjoyed following his grandchildren's athletic events.
In addition to his wife, Paul is survived by two sons, Stephen Williams (Pamela) of La Monte and Scott Williams of Sedalia; three grandsons, Shane, Blake, and Gage; two step-grandsons, Joshua and Jason; four great-grandchildren; three step-great-grandchildren; a sister, Sharron Rustman (Micheal) of Rocky Mount, MO; a brother, Ron Williams (Tina) of Waxahachie, TX.
Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday, May 13, 2025, at Rea Funeral Chapel, with Pastor Truman Yoder officiating.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the chapel.
The burial will be at La Monte Cemetery, La Monte, MO, with full military honors by the United States Army and the VFW Post #2591.
Pallbearers will be Shane Williams, Blake Williams, Gage Williams, Joshua Hudson, Jason Hudson, and Wayne Minor.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Parkinson's Foundation in the care of Rea Funeral Chapel.
