Obituary For Phillip Eugene Bishop

Phillip "Phil" Eugene Bishop, 70, of Sedalia, MO passed away Monday, March 14, 2022, at his home. He was born on September 1, 1951, in Cleveland, MO the eldest child of Harold Eugene "Gene" Bishop and Dorothy Dean (Hopper) Bishop, who preceded him in death.

On July 5, 1996 in Sedalia, he was united in marriage to Kelley J. Parker, who resides in the home.

Phillip, also known as Phil was a lifelong welder who along with his wife, established the steel fabrication business known as PK Products, LLC, where they are celebrating their 20th year of in business.

Phil enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson Road King, hunting, fishing and camping. He especially loved to spend time with his wife, son, grandchildren, sister and their families.

In addition to his wife, Phil is survived by two siblings, Deborah Hargis (Jeff) and Terry Bishop (Dawn); two sons, Brian Bishop and Brandon Bishop (Robin); seven grandchildren, Chelsea Bryan (Nick), Brady Bishop (Raven), Shelbi Bishop, Alex Bishop, Caden Landers, Robin "Cherie" Landers and Anna Lawler; four great-grandchildren, Bryce, Ivyann, Amber and Lilith; as well as numerous nephews, nieces and their families.

Besides his parents, he is preceded in death by two brothers, Roger and Steve.

There will be a Celebration of Life gathering of family and friends held at a later date by the family.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital in care of Rea Funeral Chapel.

Arrangements are under the direction of Rea Funeral Chapel.
